This unit of work is several weeks for your TA to deliver for a small group of pupils. I have written it for children who need to develop friendships and friendship skills. I hope you find it useful. A TA can pick this up with no explanation or support and should be able to deliver with just an hour or so to familiarise herself, print resources etc. I have also made a game in case your school doesn't have friendship type games. I used to deliver training for the LA and as private trainer on Cyber Bullying and Anti-bullying. Here are the resources I used to deliver a range of different timed sessions to parents, school staff and on training courses which staff attended off site. There are activity week plans and resources, quizzes, powerpoints with all the trainer notes etc in and timings plans for the trainer delivering the sessions. I also used these things in Anti-Bullying week and in assemblies. This training was my favourite training to deliver. I was bullied myself so it comes from the heart! Emphasis on working with the whole community not only trying to get a powerless person to stand up to a powerful bully which so often is the assumption in anti-bullying training.
